BERLINER GIRL BLOG

BERLIJNSEMEID X

Hello lovely readers,

Your girl has some exciting news to share! It has been a while since I have been writing, but it has a reason. I am here to tell you that Berliner girl is turning back into Dutch girl. No, I am not changing the name of my blog, but I am moving back to my home country, The Netherlands. I must say as I am very excited to go back, I am also very scared.

Last night I was at KLO (toilet) bar with some friends. It was really cool! Tables going up and down, masks dropping, weird sounds and lights. It was sort of my goodbye because I was leaving very soon. It was also strange to be in a bar with a mask on. I think I will never experience this again, at least I hope so. It was fine having a mask on when going to the toilet etcetera, but I wish that the Corona-virus is gone soon, so I can travel back to Berlin whenever I want to.

If you want to see the toilets for yourself: Leibnizstraße 57, 10629 Berlin, Germany. The bar has really nice staff and they do have this huge black spider on the bar, living its best life. And yes, it is real.

I also went to the Monkey bar on the 10 th floor of Bikini Bar! Budapester Straße. 40, 10787 Berlin, Germany It was a view I just wanted to see. My friend and I needed to wait for 45 minutes before we could enter the building. When we were finally being able to get into the building, we found out we were waiting in the wrong line. Nothing is ever boring with me. After being on the top of the building and being able to see the top of Berlin Charlottenburg, we ordered our way too expensive food. I did not even like it and we also went to KLO bar.

After all, it was a fun week! And for now, I am travelling back to The Netherlands, again by train. Remember when I said that I would never move by public transport again? Yes, I failed myself. It is strange to think that this train ride, would change my life. But it is not changing my life. You know what changed my life? Deciding to move, quit two of my jobs and leave everything behind. Time for a second new start of my life. Or is it just a chapter?

In one week, I will be back in Berlin, bringing back the keys to the Agency and clean everything in my room. Take every chance you get; change is not always a bad thing.

Liebe Grüßen!

Your Berliner girl
