Hello lovely readers!

I was in the hospital for a while. Nothing big. Pressuring doctors at the hospital to let me go. Not because I felt good, or better. Because of Halsey and the concert. There was no way, in this world, I would miss Halsey her concert! I became a huge fan of Halsey and I really wanted to see her and maybe G-eazy would show up! (Also a fan of him since Him & I)

I took the bus to go to Columbia Halle and I saw a lot of people waiting for the door to open. With a capacity of 3500 people, it was a beautiful hall and there was even an outside smokers area, which you do not see often in concert halls.

The pre-show felt like it was lasting forever! (only 30 minutes, felt like forever) I only got to see 30 minutes of Halsey her concert because I got really sick, but I consider this as the most awesome concert, because it was the first concert I went alone (and in Germany, Berlin!).  Later I found out, it was not only being sick, but also having anxiety of being alone in a big crowd! That is maybe why I was standing all in the back and I could not see anything but a small person a stage.

When I walked out of the venue the security guard told me: "If you leave you are not allowed to go back. There is a smokers-area." I went home. I was happy I went. Oh and G-eazy actually showed up as I thought, but I already went home then.

Hello lovely readers!

What is Berlin beautiful! Isn’t it? Daily on the bike to my work. I must say the hills I need cross to get to work are tiring. But the view I got back is amazing! Everyday I am crossing this bridge which is above a railway surrounded with a lot of green.

When riding this road with the sun in my back, I also cross Lidl which is super easy. But when I get heavy groceries, I rather take the bus to my house. The only but is that it is a few min walking to the bus stop from Lidl and that the bus only arrives once in 30 minutes if you are lucky. Sometimes the bus just does not show up and then you are waiting for an hour with the heavy groceries.

Sometimes I take the Ubahn and go to Penny at Bismarckstrasse, two stations from my home. Oh, what is it weird to say home? Yes, Berlin is my home for one month now! Good thing about Bismarckstrasse is that there is a Penny, Lidl, Edeka. They got everything there!

Hello lovely readers!

My first time at Brandenburger Tor! And many to follow. It was crowded but not the type of crowded I know now. My first trip to Berlin in April 2018, this was also my first solo trip. I was so excited but also so nervous! With the bus from Utrecht, The Netherlands to Berlin, Germany. The trip was great and I saw a lot of Berlin. I only wanted more!

I ended up in my hotel room and this was one of the first days of my solo travel trip. I went there for fun, because I wanted to explore the country Germany. I always wanted to live in Germany, and who would have known that it only took 3 months, 3 short months when I entered my apartment building to live.

If you want to go to Brandenburger Tor: Pariser Platz, 10117 Berlin, Germany

Hello lovely readers!

Last week, when I was having lunch with a friend at a restaurant there was a stray bird. It was so sweet and the bird was not shy at all. It let me take pictures of it and the bird was even comfortable enough to steal my nachos. I mean me and cheese is 1+1, so it was a dare!

The restaurant was close to the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe. Which is very interesting to see, especially when you learned about the history of the war and the meaning of this monument, but I could not handle all the people using it as an Instagram spot because you should look at the history and not the likes you can get on social media. They mean nothing!

The baby bird I can almost call my own. When you start stealing nachos and cheese, you're something special.

I️f you want to go to Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe:  Cora-Berliner-Straße 1, 10117 Berlin, Germany
